On May 12, 2014, Vice Foreign Minister Wang Chao met at request with State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia and National Coordinator of the Latvian side Andrejs Pildegovičs, who was in China for the Meeting of National Coordinators for China-CEEC (Central and Eastern European Countries) Cooperation. Both sides exchanged views on bilateral relations, China-CEEC cooperation, China-Europe relations and international and regional issues of common concern.
