On July 11, 2017, Vice Foreign Minister Wang Chao met at request with State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Coordinator Andrejs Pildegovičs of Latvia, who was in China for the 9th National Coordinators’ Meeting for Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries (“16+1” cooperation). Both sides mainly exchanged views on bilateral relations, the “Belt and Road” construction and the “16+1”cooperation.
