On July 12, 2013, Vice Foreign Minister Song Tao met with Vice Foreign Minister of Lithuania Rolandas Kriščiūnas. Both sides exchanged views on China-Lithuania relations, China-Central & Eastern Europe cooperation and China-EU relations.

Song stressed that China values the relations with Lithuania. China is willing to take the opportunity of Lithuania’s rotating EU presidency in the second half of this year to advance China-Lithuania, China-Central & Eastern Europe cooperation as well as China-EU relations.

Kriščiūnas said that Lithuania hopes to continue to strengthen bilateral practical cooperation in all fields and to make positive efforts for sound development of EU-China relations.
