On March 11, 2015, Vice Foreign Minister Wang Chao attended at invitation the reception for the 25th anniversary of the restoration of independence held by the Lithuanian Embassy in China, and met with Lithuanian Ambassador to China Lina Antanaviciene. Both sides agreed that China-Lithuania relations have entered a new development stage, and both countries should, on the basis of consensus reached by the two Foreign Ministers during their meeting in New York not long ago, strengthen bilateral political mutual trust, intensify personnel exchanges of various levels, enhance practical cooperation in transportation, logistics, agriculture, people-to-people and cultural engagement and other areas and constantly push bilateral friendly and cooperative relations for new progress. Both sides also exchanged views on cooperation between China and the Central and Eastern European countries as well as China-EU relations.
