From October 9 to 10, 2017, Vice Foreign Minister Wang Chao visited Lithuania, during which he met with Foreign Policy Advisor to Prime Minister of Lithuania Deividas Matulionis and held political consultations between the two Foreign Ministries with Vice Foreign Minister Neris Germanas of Lithuania. Both sides exchanged in-depth views on China-Lithuania relations, the building of the Belt and Road Initiative, cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries, China-Europe relations and international and regional issues of common concern.
