On January 16, 2005, State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan met with visiting Prime Minister Marc Forne Molne of the Principality of Andorra.

Tang Jiaxuan said that since the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Andorra, the two countries have been maintaining friendly relations. The Chinese government attaches importance to developing bilateral relations with the Principality of Andorra and is willing to strengthen exchanges and expand cooperation between the two countries. He also expressed confidence that with the joint efforts of both sides, the bilateral ties will witness constant consolidation and development.

Forne Molne said that the people of both countries are good friends. The Andorra government is willing to further strengthen cooperation with China in areas including tourism and push forward bilateral relations continuously.
