On September 3, 2020, Deputy Director-General of the Protocol Department of the Foreign Ministry Li Anrong accepted the copies of credentials from newly-appointed Papua New Guinean to China Don Sawong, newly-appointed Danish Ambassador to China Thomas Østrup Møller and newly-appointed Belgian Ambassador to China Jan Hoogmartens. Ambassador Thomas Østrup Møller arrived in Beijing on August 26. Ambassador Don Sawong and Ambassador Jan Hoogmartens arrived in Beijing on August 31.
