On December 8, 2016, Vice Foreign Minister Liu Zhenmin met with former President of Iceland and Chairman of the Arctic Circle Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson at request. Both sides exchanged views on topics including China-Iceland relations, Arctic cooperation and the Arctic Circle.
