On July 17, 2013, Vice Foreign Minister Song Tao met with H.E. Ante Simonic, Croatian Ambassador to China, and H.E. Joseph Cassar, Maltese Ambassador to China, to bid farewell for their departure.

Song Tao made positive comments on the development of China-Croatia, China-Malta relations. He appreciated the two Ambassadors’ efforts to promote China-Croatia, China-Malta as well as China-EU relations.

The Ambassadors thanked the Chinese side for providing support and help during their tenure. They expressed that they are willing to continue to contribute to deepening the Croatia-China and Malta-China traditional friendship and promoting the EU-China relations.
