On September 21, 2016, Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Haixing met with Maltese Ambassador to China John Aquilina and congratulated on the 52nd anniversary of the National Day of Malta. Both sides also exchanged views on China-Malta relations, China-EU relations as well as other topics.
