On September 11, 2019, Vice Foreign Minister Qin Gang met with the young leaders delegation of the Labour Party of Malta. The delegation visited China at the invitation of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. Qin Gang exchanged views with Christian Cardona, head of the delegation, Deputy Leader of the Labour Party of Malta and Minister of Economy, Investment and Small Businesses, on China-Malta relations, cooperation in joint building of the Belt and Road Initiative, China-Europe relations, exchanges and dialogue among civilizations and other topics.
