On December 11, 2023, the tenth session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption opened in Atlanta, the United States. Ambassador of China to the United States Xie Feng led a Chinese delegation to attend the conference and made remarks, expounding on China's position.

Xie Feng said that the Communist Party of China and the Chinese government have always taken a clear-cut stand against corruption, which has gained heartfelt endorsement and wide support of the Chinese people. Under the strong leadership of President Xi Jinping, China has waged a battle against corruption on a scale unprecedented in China's history, adhered to a comprehensive strategy to ensure no no-go zones, no ground and no tolerance for corruption, and pursued efforts to ensure that officials do not dare to be, are not able to be, and do not want to be corrupt. China has achieved an overwhelming victory and fully consolidated the gains in its fight against corruption. China has pursued an anti-corruption path relying on advantages in its system and rule of law, and written a new chapter in the history of humanity's battle against corruption.

Xie Feng pointed out that this year marks the 20th anniversary of the United Nations Convention against Corruption open for signing. China, as one of the first countries to sign and ratify the Convention, has always faithfully implemented the obligations of the Convention, participated in international anti-corruption rules setting across the board, proposed anti-corruption initiatives and propositions in a constructive manner, and promoted with great efforts practical cooperation in law enforcement and justice, becoming an active participant in and important contributor to global anti-corruption governance. China abides by the principles of sovereign equality and non-interference in internal affairs, remains committed to promoting the formation of an international anti-corruption cooperative partnership featuring fairness and justice, respecting differences, win-win cooperation and honoring commitments, and firmly opposes the abuse of the "long-arm jurisdiction" by some country on the grounds of combating corruption. China stands ready to work with other countries to uphold the concept of a human community with a shared future, promote the building of a fairer and more reasonable global anti-corruption governance system, and deliver more benefits of international anti-corruption cooperation to every country.
