On November 20, 2019, Deputy Director-General of the Protocol Department of the Foreign Ministry Li Anrong accepted the copies of credentials respectively presented by newly-appointed Singaporean Ambassador to China Lui Tuck Yew, newly-appointed Kazakh Ambassador to China Gabit Koishibayev and newly-appointed Cuban Ambassador to China Carlos Miguel Pereira. Ambassador Lui Tuck Yew arrived in Beijing on November 18, and Ambassador Gabit Koishibayev and Ambassador Carlos Miguel Pereira arrived in Beijing on November 19.
