On August 27, 2019, Vice Foreign Minister Zheng Zeguang met with a delegation of Senators of the Dominican Republic headed by Sanchez, head of Dominican Republic-China friendship group of the Senate of the Dominican Republic. Both sides exchanged views on China-Dominican Republic relations and other topics of common interest.
