In order to promote the development of economic and trade cooperation between the three countries, he suggested the meeting mechanism be established among economic and trade ministers and meeting held during the 10+3 leadership meeting to strengthen and coordinate cooperation. The consultative mechanism should also be set up among the quality supervision and quarantine departments to immediately spot and solve problems and promote the healthy development of the economic and trade cooperation of the three nations. The three leaders agreed that promoting the three-nation cooperation in the framework of ASEAN plus China, Japan and the ROK is of significance to safeguarding peace and stability of Northeast Asia and Asia-Pacific region. They agreed to further strengthen economic and trade cooperation between the three countries. To that end, they reached common ground on establishing the meeting mechanism among the economic and trade ministers, continuing to support the meeting among the finance ministers, and setting up business forum for the entrepreneurs of the three nations to promote exchanges and cooperation among the business communities of the three countries. The leaders expressed their stances on fighting all forms of terrorism and transnational crimes, and agreed to strengthen cooperation among the public security departments.
