Li Keqiang first conveyed President Xi Jinping's kind greetings and best wishes to President François Hollande. Li Keqiang said that China and France enjoy high-level political mutual trust, fruitful results in mutually beneficial cooperation and continuously deepened friendship between the two peoples. As the permanent members of the UN Security Council, both China and France have made important contributions to maintaining world peace and regional stability. China is wiling to work with France to conduct closer high-level exchanges, enhance the level of bilateral strategic mutual trust, promote the transformation and upgrading of practical cooperation, boost each side's development and revitalization, and strengthen coordination and cooperation and play their due role on issues concerning world peace, security and development.

Li Keqiang pointed out that China-France practical cooperation boasts unique advantages and broad prospects. The two sides should think of more ways for cooperation, increase convergence of interests and jointly explore the third-party market to break new ground for China-France practical cooperation and jointly promote the sustainable recovery of world economy. The two sides should strengthen and deepen cooperation in traditional areas such as nuclear energy, aviation and aerospace, carry out all-production-chain cooperation and in-depth industrial cooperation, and increase the proportion of high-value-added and high-tech cooperation. The two sides should expand emerging areas of cooperation such as finance, digitization, sustainable development, tourism and agricultural food and develop new growth points.

Li Keqiang emphasized that China appreciates and supports the efforts of France as the host country of the Climate Change Conference in Paris, and is willing to keep close communication and coordination with France to promote the Conference for positive outcomes.

François Hollande welcomed Li Keqiang's visit to France, and said that France-China comprehensive strategic partnership has entered into a brand-new stage, bringing numerous outcomes for the two countries and peoples. France highly appreciates the Chinese government's announcement of its Intended Nationally Determined Contributions on climate change, which is an important support to the success of the Climate Change Conference in Paris and a significant opportunity for the international community to address climate change and promote sustainable economic development. China's proposal on trilateral cooperation is very positive and conducive to all parties involved. France and China pursue an independent foreign policy and maintain close coordination and cooperation in major international and regional affairs, which helps to maintain world peace and stability.

The two sides also held in-depth and detailed discussions and reached important consensus on ways of carrying out trilateral cooperation, and agreed to establish a China-France joint fund in this regard to provide financing support to international cooperation such as the industrial investment of the two countries in a third party.
