Li Keqiang Inspects China-France Aviation Cooperation Project, Stressing to Make China-France Cooperation Fly Faster, Higher and Farther

On the afternoon of July 2 local time, when visiting Toulouse, France, Premier Li Keqiang, accompanied by Prime Minister Manuel Valls of France, inspected the project of production cooperation between China and France at the headquarters of Airbus.

The Chinese Premier and French Prime Minister together boarded on the helicopter jointly researched, developed and produced by the two countries. Li Keqiang asked in detail the technical features and performance of the model, and the person in charge of the project made an introduction, stressing that half of the parts of the helicopter are made by Chinese enterprises. The Chinese Premier and French Prime Minister had a warm talk in the cockpit and charted a bright course for bilateral aviation cooperation.

Following that, the Chinese Premier and French Prime Minister witnessed the signing of cooperation agreements concerning Tianjin Airbus A330 Completion and Delivery Center and others, and the Delivery Center will be the first cooperation project of Airbus for wide-body aircraft outside Europe. Li Keqiang pointed out that China and France should, continuously upholding the spirit of mutual benefit, win-win results, openness and innovation, give play to the regional advantages of Tianjin Delivery Center to make Tianjin a center for Airbus in Asia.

Li Keqiang expressed that the aerospace and aviation cooperation has become a model for China-France and China-EU practical cooperation. China-France cooperation has gone beyond the simple business relationship and become strategic connection complementing each other's advantages. With the implementation of the "Made in China2025"strategy, China's medium and high-end manufacturing capacity will increase gradually, further broadening bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation. During the visit, China and France issued the statement on cooperation concerning the joint development of the third-party market, encouraging and supporting bilateral enterprises to utilize their own advantages in production, technology, capital and others to enhance trilateral cooperation with the third party thus realize mutual benefit and multi-win results and make China-France cooperation fly faster, higher and farther.

The Chinese Premier and French Prime Minister also took group photos with representatives attending the sixth China-France summit on aviation industrial development, and had warm talks with Chinese employees of Airbus Toulouse base.
