On the morning of May 20 local time, Premier Li Keqiang boarded the China-made ferry "Sugar Loaf Mountain" in Rio de Janeiro and had an informal discussion with representatives of Chinese and Brazilian entrepreneurs onboard.

Sugar Loaf Mountain is a well-known mountain situated in Rio de Janeiro, and now the China-made ferry named after it has also become a mobile scenery in the gulf.

Li Keqiang, accompanied by several ministers of the Brazilian federal government and State Governor of Rio de Janeiro, boarded the ferry. He then went to the pilot house and friendly communicated with the working staff there.

Li Keqiang expressed that the "Sugar Loaf Mountain" ferry is another specific achievement of China-Brazil cooperation in production capacity and equipment manufacturing. It is hoped that relevant parties in both countries will continue making concerted and close efforts to ensure timely and quality-guaranteed delivery and putting-into-use of follow-up ferries ordered by the Brazilian side, thus contributing and adding luster to the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

At the following informal discussion, Li Keqiang listened to the remarks of representatives from business, financial and other circles of the two countries. Li Keqiang expressed that China and Brazil enjoy prominent economic complementary advantages as well as huge potential and broad prospect in bilateral practical cooperation. The two governments should provide platforms for bilateral enterprises, thus create conditions for their closer cooperation. Both sides should also boost financial cooperation and provide investment and financing support for bilateral production capacity cooperation. It is hoped that the Brazilian federal government and local governments will attach more importance to security of Chinese enterprises especially medium and small-sized ones as well as safety and legitimate rights and interests of overseas Chinese in Brazil, and create a better environment for their investment and business operation there. It is believed that under the joint efforts of bilateral governments and business circles, the giant ship of China-Brazil cooperation will definitely ride the wind and waves toward a brighter future.

The Brazilian side expressed its willingness to pay high attention to and protect the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises in Brazil from a strategic height, and push visa facilitation and other measures.

All the participators expressed their willingness to continuously serve as promoters of bilateral practical cooperation as well as pioneers of bilateral production capacity cooperation, contributing to economic development and people's welfare of the two countries.

The "Sugar Loaf Mountain" ferry, with a capacity of 2000 people, was customized by a Chinese enterprise for Rio de Janeiro City. It has enjoyed great popularity from citizens of Rio de Janeiro since its first trip not long ago. Besides, another 6 ferries of the same level will be delivered successively this year and next year to serve the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games.
