2015-11-01 10:14

On the morning of November 1 local time, Premier Li Keqiang met with executives of major enterprises of the Republic of Korea (ROK) at the hotel where he stayed in Seoul.

Executives from the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, LG Electronics, SK Group, Samsung Group, Hyundai Motor Group and other enterprises respectively made remarks, briefing on operations of their businesses in China, and providing their suggestions on promoting trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

Li Keqiang listened carefully to their remarks and noted that the enterprises presented at the meeting, which started cooperation with China relatively early, have deeply engaged in China's industrialization and modernization, and now represent the high level of the mutually beneficial cooperation between the enterprises of the two countries. As China pushes forward reform and opening-up along with economic restructuring and upgrading, China will further improve its investment environment and open up more areas for foreign investment. It is hoped that large enterprises of the ROK will take the opportunities to continuously expand cooperation with China, combine strengths with Chinese enterprises and jointly carry out international production capacity cooperation in third-party markets, so as to better realize mutual benefits and win-win results.

The entrepreneurs present at the meeting extended their gratitude to Premier Li Keqiang's meeting, expressed their optimism over the significant opportunities provided by China's reform, opening-up and innovation-driven development, and said that they are willing to further strengthen cooperation with China, expand cooperation areas, and become good cooperation partners for China's economic development.
