On the morning of November 2 local time, Premier Li Keqiang met with Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn of the Republic of Korea (ROK) at the ROK Central Government Complex in Seoul.

Li Keqiang expressed that during my current visit, President Park Geun-hye and I have had friendly and in-depth talks and reached a number of important consensus. We agreed to realize the docking of national development strategies, reinforce cooperation in innovation and entrepreneurship, explore to carry out international production capacity cooperation in third-party markets, and seize the opportunity of the signing of the China-ROK Free Trade Agreement (FTA) to innovate trade cooperation mode and elevate the level of bilateral economic and trade cooperation. It is hoped that relevant departments of the two countries will make joint efforts to turn the consensus into fruitful results at an early date and thus push forward the development of bilateral relations on the existing sound basis.

Li Keqiang pointed out that to reinforce the docking of innovation cooperation strategies of China and the ROK is a significant achievement of my visit. The establishment of a platform for China-ROK innovation cooperation and co-construction of an innovation industrial park in Chengdu of China can facilitate innovation cooperation between giant corporations as well as small and medium-sized enterprises of the two countries, better promote bilateral mutual benefits and win-win results, push forward the industrial upgrading in China, especially in its central and western areas, satisfy diverse consumption needs, as well as create favorable conditions and play an exemplary role for joint exploration of the third-party markets. To this end, China is willing to work with the ROK to establish a ministerial coordination mechanism and discuss to set up a joint fund to provide support for innovation cooperation between their enterprises.

Hwang Kyo-ahn first congratulated on Premier Li Keqiang's successful official visit to the ROK and successful attendance of the Trilateral Leaders' Meeting of the ROK, China and Japan. He also expressed that ROK-China cooperation in various fields has achieved great development, and the ROK is willing to take the opportunity of Premier Li Keqiang's visit to accelerate the implementation of the consensus reached during the visit, take a long-term perspective, strengthen strategic dialogues, expand innovation cooperation, explore actively to tap together the third-party markets, enhance interactions between the youths and enrich the connotations of bilateral relations so as to push forward ROK-China strategic cooperative partnership.
