On the evening of November 26, 2015, Premier Li Keqiang held talks at the Great Hall of the People with Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic of Serbia, who was in China for the 4th Summit of China and Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) as well as an official visit.

Li Keqiang expressed that China-Serbia friendship becomes firmer as time goes by, and mutual respect and sincere treatment serve as the foundation for the development of bilateral relations. China will work with Serbia to continuously and earnestly plan and develop bilateral relations from a long-term and strategic perspective so as to translate bilateral high-level political mutual trust into more practical results of cooperation.

Li Keqiang pointed out that China is willing to dock development strategies with Serbia to achieve common development. It is hoped that both sides will earnestly implement the signed projects including railway, road and power stations, and create favorable conditions to start construction of the Budapest-Belgrade railway as early as possible. The Chinese government supports Chinese enterprises to carry out production capacity cooperation with Serbia in iron and steel and other sectors in the hope to offer high-quality and low-cost construction materials for Serbia's infrastructure construction and thus help Serbia's economic and social development, playing a radiating and exemplary role for the neighboring region. It is hoped that both sides will jointly promote the construction of industrial parks along the Danube, further expand cooperation fields, and tap cooperation potentials in agricultural science and technology, small and medium-sized enterprises, culture, education, tourism and other various areas to realize mutual benefits and win-win results.

Aleksandar Vucic highly appreciated the "1+6" cooperation framework put forward by Premier Li Keqiang at the 4th Summit of China and the CEEC, and expressed that China is the closest partner of Serbia. The two countries enjoy solid political relations and are proud of their cooperation results. Serbia is actively developing its friendly cooperative relations with China, which is not only based on its own interests but also due to the sincere love of the Serbian people towards the Chinese people. Serbia will speed up relevant preparation work for the Budapest-Belgrade railway and hopes China participate more in its development and construction in such areas as expressway, industrial parks and iron and steel so as to jointly push for constant results from bilateral and 16+1 cooperation.

Prior to the talks, Li Keqiang held a welcome ceremony for Aleksandar Vucic in the North Hall of the Great Hall of the People. Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Ma Peihua was present.

Following the talks, the Chinese Premier and the Serbian Prime Minister jointly witnessed the signing of multiple bilateral cooperation documents covering infrastructure, construction materials, science and technology, quality inspection, education and other fields.
