On March 30, 2015, Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Yu Zhengsheng met with President Edgar Chagwa Lungu of Zambia at the Great Hall of the People.

Yu Zhengsheng said that China and Zambia enjoy profound traditional friendship and bilateral relations have always maintained sound and stable development.
