On October 17, 2016 local time, President Xi Jinping returned to Beijing after concluding his state visits to the Kingdom of Cambodia and the People's Republic of Bangladesh and attendance at the 8th BRICS Summit held in Goa, India.

Member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Director of the Policy Research Office of the CPC Central Committee Wang Huning, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee Li Zhanshu, State Councilor Yang Jiechi, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Governor of the People's Bank of China Zhou Xiaochuan and other delegation members arrived by the same plane.

On the morning of October 17 local time, Xi Jinping left Goa, India for China. Senior officials of the Indian government saw him off at the airport.
