Li Keqiang Meets with Prime Minister Qohir Rasulzoda of Tajikistan

On the afternoon of November 3, 2016 local time, Premier Li Keqiang met at the conference center of Bishkek State Guesthouse with Prime Minister Qohir Rasulzoda of Tajikistan.

Li Keqiang said that China and Tajikistan are friendly neighbors and cooperation partners. The Chinese side is satisfied with the sound development of bilateral relations and cooperation, and is willing to, together with Tajikistan, enhance mutual trust and deepen cooperation, so as to jointly achieve development and bring more benefits to the two peoples.

Li Keqiang pointed out that cooperation in major production capacity projects in such areas as electricity, textile and machinery between China and Tajikistan have undergone smooth progress. It is hoped that both sides could summarize experience, expand cooperation scale and extend cooperation areas, so as to better achieve mutual benefit and win-win results. China is willing to, together with Tajikistan, strengthen cooperation under the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, safeguard peace and stability and push forward common development.

Qohir Rasulzoda noted that in recent years, Tajikistan-China relations have constantly achieved positive progress. Bilateral cooperation has vigorously boosted the construction and development of major projects in Tajikistan in such areas as transportation, energy, electricity, chemical engineering and textile, promoted the economic development as well as improved people's livelihood of Tajikistan. The Tajik side stands ready to make joint efforts with China to push for continuous development of bilateral relations.
