Li Keqiang Meets with Prime Minister Taavi Roivas of Estonia

On the morning of November 5, 2016 local time, Premier Li Keqiang met with Prime Minister Taavi Roivas of Estonia at the hotel where he stayed in Riga.

Li Keqiang said that China regards Estonia as a good friend and good partner in the Baltic region. China is willing to take the 25th anniversary of the establishment of China-Estonia diplomatic relationship as an opportunity to promote friendly cooperation and intensify people-to-people and cultural exchanges between the two countries. The Chinese side encourages its enterprises to carry out cooperation in various areas with Estonia, and participate in railway, port and other infrastructure construction of Estonia. China supports Estonia to continually give play to its advantages in such areas as information technology and e-commerce, so as to create new highlights in innovation cooperation under the framework of the "16 +1 cooperation".

Taavi Roivas said that bilateral relations have maintained a good momentum of constant development, and bilateral economic cooperation is full of potential. Estonia is willing to strengthen bilateral cooperation in transportation, logistics and other fields to advance e-commerce cooperation within the framework of the "16 +1 cooperation".
