Li Keqiang Meets with Prime Minister Boyko Borisov of Bulgaria

On the morning of November 5, 2016 local time, Premier Li Keqiang met at the hotel where he stayed in Riga with Prime Minister Boyko Borisov of Bulgaria.

Li Keqiang noted that China and Bulgaria are trustworthy and good friends and partners. Attaching importance to Bulgaria's strong desire of strengthening cooperation with China, the Chinese side is willing to expand practical cooperation in various fields with Bulgaria. China stands ready to encourage Chinese enterprises to give play to their advantages in agricultural equipment manufacturing when investing in Bulgaria as well as carry out cooperation in the deep processing of agricultural products with the country. Both sides could also jointly explore third-party markets so as to better realize mutual benefit and win-win results.

Expressing the willingness to advance cooperation with China, Boyko Borisov said that Bulgaria attaches great importance to the "16+1 cooperation". Enterprises of both countries have already launched successful cooperation in agriculture. It is hoped that both sides could expand bilateral cooperation and extend third-party market cooperation.
