Li Keqiang Meets with Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka of the Czech Republic

On the evening of November 5, 2016 local time, Premier Li Keqiang met at the hotel where he stayed in Riga with Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka of the Czech Republic.

Li Keqiang expressed that China-Czech relations enjoy smooth development in general with constantly emerging outcomes from practical cooperation. Both sides should treat each other from a strategic height and long-term perspective, so as to ensure steady progress in bilateral relations and provide a sound environment for the deepening of practical cooperation. It is hoped that the Czech Republic could provide convenience for Chinese financial institutions to establish branches in the country.

Bohuslav Sobotka noted that the Czech Republic attaches high importance to its relationship with China, respects China's core interests and major concerns, and devotes itself to forging bilateral mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation into a model for cooperation between Central and Eastern European countries and China. It is hoped that both sides could expand mutual investment. The Czech Republic is willing to offer support and convenience to Chinese enterprises to invest in the country.
