Li Keqiang Meets with Chairman Miyegombo Enkhbold of the State Great Hural of Mongolia

On the morning of July 14, 2016 local time, Premier Li Keqiang met at the Government Palace in Ulaanbaatar with Chairman Miyegombo Enkhbold of the State Great Hural of Mongolia.

Li Keqiang congratulated Miyegombo Enkhbold on his election as the new Chairman of the State Great Hural, and expressed that China-Mongolia relations constantly achieve new progress. China attaches importance to its relationship and cooperation with Mongolia and is ready to make joint efforts with the country to consolidate traditional friendship, enhance high-level exchanges and deepen practical cooperation in agriculture, animal husbandry, infrastructure construction, finance and other major areas, so as to promote economic growth and improve people's livelihood.

Li Keqiang pointed out that communication and cooperation between the two legislative bodies are an important component of China-Mongolia relations. China welcomes the new State Great Hural to continuously maintain regular communication with the National People's Congress (NPC). Political parties of both countries could also strengthen communication in state governance and administration.

Miyegombo Enkhbold expressed that Premier Li Keqiang's visit this time is of great significance to promoting the friendly cooperation between the two countries. The new State Great Hural will attach great importance to and advance follow-up implementation of the important consensus and results achieved between Premier Li Keqiang and Prime Minister Jargaltulga Erdenebat this time, make efforts to provide a sound legal environment for Chinese enterprises investing in the country and further deepen communication and cooperation with the NPC. The new Mongolian government will maintain a consistent and stable policy towards China and enhance bilateral practical cooperation in various fields based on the strong will of developing the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
