Xi Jinping Leaves Beijing for State Visits to the Republic of Italy, the Principality of Monaco and the Republic of France

On March 21, 2019, at the invitation of President Sergio Mattarella of the Republic of Italy, Head of State Prince Albert II of the Principality of Monaco and President Emmanuel Macron of the Republic of France, President Xi Jinping left Beijing by special plane to pay state visits to the above three countries.

Members of Xi Jinping's delegation include his wife Mme. Peng Liyuan; Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee Ding Xuexiang; Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee Yang Jiechi; State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi; and Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Director of the National Development and Reform Commission He Lifeng.
