On March 26, 2019 local time, President Xi Jinping concluded his state visit to France. Before leaving Paris, Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan attended the grand farewell ceremony held by President Emmanuel Macron of France and his wife at the Élysée Palace.

At around 5:00 p.m. local time, when Xi Jinping and Peng Liyuan arrived at the Élysée Palace, Emmanuel Macron and his wife greeted them warmly at the drop-off point. The French Republican Guard, and the guard of honor of army, navy and air force of France lined up and the military band played cheerful melody.
