From December 11 to 15, 2023, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences of the Foreign Ministry Shen Bo went to Geneva to attend the United Nations Human Rights 75 High-level Event and the second Global Refugee Forum. Shen Bo made remarks at the plenary session of the Human Rights 75 High-level Event and the Roundtable on Climate and Environment, promoting the major initiatives put forward by President Xi Jinping and introducing China's human rights concepts and achievements. He also delivered speeches at the plenary session of the Global Refugee Forum, elaborating on China's position and proposition on the refugee issue.

During his attendance at the forums, Shen Bo met with the heads of relevant international organizations and representatives from other countries attending the forums, and had an in-depth exchange of views on international and regional issues of common interest and concern.
