The 5th China-RoK-Japan Cyber Policy Consultation was held via video conference on December 9th,2020. Wang Lei, Coordinator for Cyber Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Lee Choong-myon, Ambassador for International Security Affairs and Special Advisor to the Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, and Takeshi Akahori, Ambassador for UN Affairs and Cyber Policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan co-chaired the meeting. Representatives from relevant ministries and agencies of the three countries attended the consultation.

The three countries exchanged views on the latest developments in cyberspace,international and regional cybersecurity processes, regional and international initiatives including the Global Initiative on Data Security, and the trilateral practical cooperation in cyberspace, etc..
