On January 13, 2021, Director-General of the Department of Arms Control of the Foreign Ministry Fu Cong and the EU's Special Envoy for Non-proliferation and Disarmament Marjolijn van Deelen held a new round of China-EU consultations on arms control and non-proliferation via video link. The two sides exchanged views on nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation, chemical and biological weapons, outer space, export control, conventional arms control and other issues of common concern.
