On April 18, 2023, Mr. Wang Lei, Coordinator for Cyber Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, and Mr. Artur Rushanovich Lyukmanov, Director of the Department of International Information Security of the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation held a new round of China-Russia bilateral consultation on information security. The two sides agreed that under the current situation, China and Russia should strengthen exchanges and coordination, stand firmly against division and confrontation in global information space, call for multilateralism and work together to uphold security and stability of information space.
