On December 8, 2021, Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu held a teleconference with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov and U.S. Special Envoy for Iran Robert Malley. The three sides exchanged views on the Iranian nuclear issue. China, Russia and the United States agreed to keep communication, continue to push forward the negotiation process and bring the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action back on track at an early date.
