On October 11, 2022, Ambassador for China-Arab States Cooperation Forum Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Li Chen visited Tunisia. He met respectively with Tunisian Foreign Minister Othman Jerandi and Director-General of the Arab Affairs Department of the Tunisian Foreign Ministry. The two sides exchanged views on China-Tunisia relations, the development of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum, and international and regional issues of mutual interest and concern.
