Wang said since the establishment of diplomatic ties 10 years ago, China-East Timor relations have made great progress and have served as a good example of equality and friendly cooperation between big and small countries. China will continue to adhere to the policy of "treating its neighbors well and as partners", constantly enhance mutual political trust, promote pragmatic cooperation and carry forward the traditional friendship so as to push relations between China and East Timor to achieve new and greater development.

The CPPCC is willing to further strengthen exchanges with the East Timorese National Parliament, and learn from each other to lay a solid foundation for friendship between the two countries. Wang also briefed on the role of the CPPCC.
