Q:When interviewed by the AFP on 2nd April, India's Foreign Minister Sinha said that India will continue looking upon China as an important neighbour and friend. What is your comment on this?

A:We appreciate the remarks by India?s Foreign Minister Sinha.India is an important neighbour of China and the two countries have a long history of friendly exchanges. In recent years, the friendly ties between the two countries have enjoyed continuous development on the basis of the Five Principles of Peaceful Co-existence. Under the current complicated and changing international situation, China and India, as the two biggest developing countries, should continue to strengthen their coordination and cooperation and jointly contribute to the peace and development of the region and the world at large.
