Special Envoy Gong Xiaosheng meets with Director of the Middle East Division Ifat Reshef and Director of the Division for Asia and Pacific Hagai Shagrir of the Center for Political Research of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel

From November 19 to 20, 2018, Special Envoy of the Chinese Government on the Middle East Issue Gong Xiaosheng visited Israel, during which he met with Director of the Middle East Division Ifat Reshef and Director of the Division for Asia and Pacific Hagai Shagrir of the Center for Political Research of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel, exchanging in-depth views on the Palestine-Israel issue, situation in the Middle East and other topics.

During his stay in Israel, Special Envoy Gong Xiaosheng also had exchanges with experts and scholars including Director of the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies Efraim Karsh of Israel.
