On November 22, 2011, Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi sent a congratulatory message to Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of Lebanon Mansour on the 68th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Lebanon.

Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi said in his message that on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of Lebanon's National Day, he would like to extend his warm congratulations and best wishes to his Lebanese counterpart. Yang pledged to make joint efforts with Foreign Minister Mansour to promote bilateral political exchanges, expand pragmatic cooperation, strengthen coordination in international and regional affairs, consolidate and deepen bilateral friendly cooperative relations.
