On October 20, 2022, Ambassador for China-Arab States Cooperation Forum Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Li Chen visited Lebanon, during which he met with Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hani Al Shemaitli of Lebanon. The two sides exchanged views on China-Lebanon relations, the building of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum, and international and regional issues of mutual interest and concern.
