On July 24, 2023, Assistant Foreign Minister Nong Rong attended upon invitation the National Day reception hosted by the Embassy of Egypt in China. Nong Rong extended congratulations on the 71st anniversary of the National Day of Egypt, and had an exchange of views with Ambassador of Egypt to China Assem Hanafi on China-Egypt relations, among others.
