On June 30, 2016, Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Ming attended at invitation the reception marking the 56th anniversary of independence of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DR Congo), and exchanged views with DR Congo Ambassador to China Jean Charles Okoto Lolakombe on China-DR Congo relations and other topics of common interest.
