President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping recently announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress:

I. Zhou Pingjian was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Kenya, replacing Wu Peng.

II. Wang Hejun was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Mozambique, replacing Su Jian.

III. Wang Shiting was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Swiss Confederation, replacing Geng Wenbing.
