On April 13, 2023, Director-General Shen Bo of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences of the Foreign Ministry and Director of the Directorate for International Organizations and Conferences of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Mozambique Ana Nemba Uaiene held China- Mozambique consultations on the affairs of the United Nations Security Council in Beijing. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on the affairs of the UN Security Council and international and regional hotspot issues of mutual interest and concern. Both sides agreed to further strengthen communication and coordination on the affairs of the UN and the UN Security Council to safeguard the common interests of developing countries including African countries.
