On the evening of November 30 local time, after attending the opening events of UN Climate Change Conference in Paris, President Xi Jinping left Paris for Harare by special plane to pay a state visit to Zimbabwe.

President Xi Jinping arrived in Paris on the afternoon of November 29 at the invitation of President Francois Hollande of the French Republic and President-Designate of the UN Climate Change Conference in Paris Laurent Fabius, and met with Francois Hollande that night in Paris.

On November 30, President Xi Jinping attended the opening events of UN Climate Change Conference in Paris and delivered an important speech entitled "Join Hands to Build Cooperative, Win-win, Fair and Reasonable Climate Change Governing System ".

On the sidelines of the opening events, Xi Jinping successively met with President Barack Obama of the US, President Vladimir Putin of Russia and President Dilma Rousseff of Brazil, exchanging views on bilateral relations, international hotspot issues and joint efforts to reach an agreement from the negotiations in Paris.

The full name of the UN Climate Change Conference in Paris is the twenty-first session of the Conference of the Parties (COP) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and the eleventh session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP), which will take place from November 30 to December 11 in Paris.

From December 1 to 5, Xi Jinping will pay state visits to Zimbabwe and South Africa, and chair the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation Summit in Johannesburg of South Africa.
