Entering the new century, the two countries enjoy friendly political relations, strong economic and trade complementarities and a solid foundation of public opinion and share a high level of consensus on further growing the bilateral ties which will embrace more opportunities. He noted that the relations between legislatures are key component of the bilateral ties. The two countries are both committed to economic and social development. Our legislative bodies can share more experience of running the state and hence make greater contributions to the welfare of our people.

Topalli said that the Albanian people have deep and pleasant memory of the traditional friendship with China and admire the development achievements China has made. The friendship between the people is the treasury of both countries. Albania expects to deepen the bilateral pragmatic cooperation and turn the friendship of the two countries into tangible results.
