On February 4, 2016, Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Haixing met with outgoing Albanian Ambassador to China Kujtim Xhani. Liu Haixing spoke positively of Kujtim Xhani's efforts in developing China-Albania relations and China-CEEC cooperation during his tenure, and expressed the hope that Kujtim Xhani will continue to care about and support China-Albania relations after leaving the post. Kujtim Xhani said that he has served as Albanian Ambassador to China for two times and is very affectionate to China and will continuously make contributions to the cause of Albania-China friendship. Both sides also exchanged views on further enhancing bilateral all-round cooperation.
