On March 21, 2017, Deputy Director-General of the Protocol Department as well as Director of the Office of Foreign Missions of the Foreign Ministry Zhang Yiming accepted the copy of credentials presented by newly-appointed Albanian Ambassador to China Selim Belortaja, who once took up the posts of Minister of Industry and Trade, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, member of the Parliament and other duties of Albania.
