On May 15, 2006, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Yesui and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Anton Rill held vice-foreign-ministerial consultation between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries in the office building of the Chinese Foreign Ministry. Both sides made positive comments on development of bilateral relations, expressing willingness to continue to strengthen cooperation in bilateral and multilateral areas, especially to expand economic and trade cooperation. Bosnia and Herzegovina reaffirms adherence to the one-China principle. Both sides also exchanged in-depth views on international and regional issues of common interest.
